I hope everyone is having a great weekend. Here’s a little Typography that caught my eye, inspired me, and/or I could relate to. I’m thinking about doing a weekly Typography Tuesday….Thoughts?

The first week of BrightonTheDay has been quite a whirlwind, but definitely in a good way. Starting a blog is a challenge, but not really in the way you would expect. It’s more of a personal challenge on your confidence. Putting myself out there for others to judge and critique is definitely scary and it is expected that negativity will come. Although the positives are supposed to outweigh the negatives, isn’t it always the case that the bad things outweigh the good–that the critiques resonate more than the compliments?

This coming week I have finals. Fortunately though, I have most of my posts completed! So I’ll be able to focus on my studies. If you have anything to say about this blog or any suggestions I would love to hear it. And if you like it, please let me know. I could use the encouragement.
