and luckily for us, and our addiction to tv-marathons, Apple is reportedly doing what it can to convince media companies to allow us to skip commercials on upcoming Apple TV product (fingers crossed!)

currently stressing over:

my looming, unsettled living situation come August 1 (eeek. deep breaths. it will all work out. right? it must.) I’m still not even sure if I’ve got to pack it all up or can stay settled – only time will tell, I guess.

currently on the beauty/products front…

my not-so-wonderful results from my first week of using the new “skincare” products I picked up from my most recent venture to Sephora. Apprently, this stuff by Peter Thomas Roth is great, but it totally dried out my skin. Swing and a Miss. Note to self: I don’t have naturally oily skin. On a lighter and more positive note, though, I am enjoying my new fancy Clinque facial moisturizer, OleHenriksen “truth” serum, and multi-tasking Philosophy Eye Hope eye cream. These products are all part of the daily routine the super kind skincare professionals suggested for me; I decided it was time to start using something a little more sophisticated (and hopefully age defying) than my typical clean & clear and dove soap go-to’s.

what you missed over here on BTD:

a few outfit posts – namely, a little more black and white action on Monday with some simple black lace and white flare jeans, a major tibi sale on the outnet, a casual “tangerine & lime” color-blocking look + summer scarf, a tropical-print-inspired ensemble on Wednesday in some super cheat shorts, and my wedding look from last Saturday

if you haven’t already noticed, I’ve been doing some blog improvements and developments. But hey, what’s new? I’m always playing with the code behind BTD – thinking of new ways to make it look prettier, be more useful for you and easier to navigate. To name a few

I did some cleaning up top with the categories and social media icons under the header (which is now centered!), added related posts content at the end of each post (for happy clicking and exploring), and moved the “comment” link from the top to the bottom of posts. Hopefully, this will make it easier and more intuitive – because usually, you think to comment AFTER you’ve read/seen the post. right? Also, I’ve been working on mobile theme to make it super easy and convenient for you to check BTD on the go. One comment I’ve had is that you can’t “zoom” in on content – I’m working on that. Anything else you think could help your experience? If something bugs you, please tell me! Odds are, I’m clueless.
