Dressing for yourself

As a blogger who runs a business on fashion and what I'm wearing, I spend a lot of time thinking about outfits, but I haven't taken much time to stop and think about who I'm dressing for. I guess often times it's for readers/followers or what I think will have a good reaction - and I'm constantly trying to showcase pieces y'all might like or sharing how to put certain items together. But I realized it's fairly rare that I'm dressing for just MYSELF. Simply looking at my closet and asking, "What will make me feel good today?" without any outside influences lingering in the back of my head.

Gardens and Lemons in Capri, Italy

Hi there, friends! I’m back again with another day exploring the beautiful island of Capri! I know a lot of people make Capri a quick little visit but I really think you could spend an entire week there and have a FULL itinerary. What to Wear in Italy in June

If you've ever wondered what you should wear in Italy in June, I've got you covered with today's outfit! Something similar to this little number will for sure be a WINNING combo to sport strolling down the streets of Italy in June. It's usually pretty warm and so you'll want to stick to something sleeveless and if you're doing a lot of walking, you'll for sure want to wear something light and airy so you don't have to worry about sweating. Also, flats are a MUST - at least for daytime!

Peasant Top and Flatforms

If you've been paying attention so far this spring, then you've probably noticed that "flatforms" are ALL the rage. I mean, they're literally everywhere. It's funny because I can remember back in 2014 (when I used to work for my mom) seeing them everywhere at Micam, which is the big Italian shoe trade show they hold a few times a year. And typically, Europe is a few seasons ahead of the U.S. so it makes sense that they'd be a huge hit about 2 years ago in the European markets. It's so funny how fashion works sometimes.

Sleeveless in Pink

I wasn’t kidding when I said I’ve been LIVING in these Tory Burch slip on flats – because Y’ALL, they’re SO stinkin’ comfortable and SUCH an easy throw on. Also, they’re the BEST color and go with pretty much everything you’d ever want to wear during Spring and Summer. I fell so in love with the color of this shirt that I actually got another top made in the same fabric…

Long Cardigan and Flared Jeans

If you haven’t noticed, I’ve been living in cardigans lately and have been mixing and matching them in so many different ways. Today I’m sharing a long cardigan and flared jeans outfit with you all to show you just how versatile a long cardigan really is. Seriously though, I feel like you can wear them with anything – as long as you have a little bit of a heel to…
