What to Wear in Italy in June

If you've ever wondered what you should wear in Italy in June, I've got you covered with today's outfit! Something similar to this little number will for sure be a WINNING combo to sport strolling down the streets of Italy in June. It's usually pretty warm and so you'll want to stick to something sleeveless and if you're doing a lot of walking, you'll for sure want to wear something light and airy so you don't have to worry about sweating. Also, flats are a MUST - at least for daytime!

Capri Day One

As I mentioned in my last post about my favorite ways to experience a new city, the first thing I always do is aimlessly wander to get a feel for where everything is. We got to Capri mid-afternoon and the first thing we did was head into town and walk around – taking it all in. I’m sure you’ve heard it before – or perhaps you’ve experienced it for yourself…

4 Ways I Love To Experience A New City

Anytime I'm new to a city or place I like to spend the first day (or at least a few hours) just aimlessly walking around to try and familiarize myself a little with the new surroundings. Plus, I'm usually able to get a good "feel" for the new place and figure out what I want to revisit or go back and see. If I already have a list of places I want to see or things to do, I like to pinpoint how I'm going to lay out the next few days depending on where everything is located. But I like to physically walk around and get a feel for it (assuming it's not a huge city like NYC or something) rather than merely looking at a 2D map. I think it's safe to say that everyone does something sort of similar when traveling to new places.

Positano to Ischia in Striped Linen

Hi friends, happy Monday! Today I’m giving you a little peek into the fabulous resort I stayed at for a few nights last week. It’s called San Montano and it’s located in one of the little Islands off the coast of Italy called Ischia. I cannot say enough about this place – it was AHH-mazing! And we ALL wished we could have spent more time there and were so sad…

Hotel Villa Franca Review // Positano

I'm so excited to finally have a chance to sit down and tell you ALL about Hotel Villa Franca in Positano. As you may have seen, I spent the first part of this week in Positano and had the opportunity to experience one of the finest gems in town - Hotel Villa Franca. And just as I expected, it was fabulous!

how to pack jewelry for travel

Aside from narrowing down how many outfits I actually need and limiting the pairs of shoes I bring, organizing and figuring out just how to organize all my accessories is the next biggest struggle for me. Of all my accessories though - ranging from scarves to hats and bags - the hardest to pack (in my opinion) is jewelry! Through lots of trial and error and tips from friends too, I've come up with a list of tips to keep in mind when organizing your jewelry for travel.

Cobbler’s Cove Hotel Review

As most of you might have noticed via my instagram and snapchat, I spent last week at Cobbler’s Cove Hotel in Barbados. And as I’m sure the photos speak for themselves, it was absolutely beautiful and such a nice breath of fresh air. As I start to travel more, I’m committing to reviewing at least one hotel for each city or location I visit so that eventually there will be…

Azul Beach Hotel Review

As most of you probably already know, I was in Cancun, Mexico last week working with Karisma Hotels. I visited Azul Beach, which is one of many of their resorts in the Riviera Maya area. While there, I visited a few of the different properties but spent most of my time at their Azul Beach hotel so that’s the one I’ll be reviewing in today’s blog post. I’ve been working…

Cut Out Suit

I think one pieces are totally UNDERrated because I’m a HUGE fan. Aside from the fact that your stomach doesn’t get any sun, I prefer them MUCH more over two pieces and think they’re much more interesting. I fell in LOVE with the cut of this one instantly – isn’t it beautiful?! It’s super flattering and slimming and is just sexy enough without being too much – if you know what…

White Peplum Tank + Mexico Day 1

The first day was mostly spent traveling, but we did get here just in time for a quick little tour around the property and then enjoyed dinner at one of the restaurants. If you were following along via snapchat, then you say that I got (#shocker) risotto with a tomato and mozzarella salad (I think I live off of that combo). One thing I've noticed about this place is that there are swings EVERYWHERE and you guys, I LOVE it. For instance, there are swing beds in the check in area for easing the whole process after a long day of traveling. Additionally, there are swing beds by the bar too (see photo below) for relaxing and enjoying the breeze near the beach. And in this photo above, I'm sitting on the swings that are on the beach (obviously) :)

Japan Recap

There’s SO MUCH I want to say about my recent mission trip to Japan, but I must admit that sitting down to write a post on it has been quite the daunting task. There’s just so much that I wish I could share, yet I get overwhelmed at the thought of trying to write it all down. I’ve been told that’s a normal feeling after a mission trip. I think…
