I finally made it over to NOLA around 3:00 Monday afternoon. It took me a little longer than expected to get everything all packed up. It was quite a day! My roomies and I have been doing our best to make our house feel like a home, but we definitely have a long way to go. As of right now, our dining room is completely empty except for a few fun-looking chairs I brought over from my college quarters.  We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out and know that the three of us are going to have such a blast together.  We are taking “all the details” one step at a time. Patience comes to those who wait? right? haha. But I’m hoping we get our wifi set up ASAP because I’m DYING without it.

As for my room, it’s pretty funny to say the least. Let’s just say I have a lot of “collecting” to do until my room even looks like a bedroom (haha). But I do have a mattress (on the floor!) and a few occasional tables I picked up on One Kings Lane. Hopefully, I’ll get the whole bed situation figured out sometimes soon. But as for now, I just keep telling myself that all I need to worry about is studying. And it’s so hard since all I WANT to do is shop for fun and pretty things for my new home! Patience is a virtue and I’m definitely having to test my limits! I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday!
