How I Set Up My Guest Bathroom

Hi, friends! Wow, it’s been a minute since I’ve written a blog post, but I’m excited to be back today and share a few updates with y’all about our guest bathroom! If you’re not completely up to date on my life (which is not something I assume BTW, lol), Duncan and I moved back to Dallas in January and just a few short weeks later I gave birth about five weeks early. Needless to say, life has been WILD.

I’m just now starting to really get our house in order and one area in particular I wanted to share is our guest bathroom. No matter where I’ve lived, I’ve always loved having a space ready to go for people that are visiting, and with my mom coming to town as soon as she could to help with the baby, I wanted to have everything she needed. Something that made this super easy to do was signing up for a Public Goods membership! Let explain more about what that means/what Public Goods is!

OK, so if you’re not familiar with Public Goods, consider this your public service announcement! They’re an amazing new brand that keeps clean, healthy products at the forefront as well as reasonable and fair pricing through their membership model pricing. The best part is you can literally get anything from Public Goods! They’re like a high-quality, conscious ‘everything store’ and I’m obsessed!

For our guest bathroom situation, I ordered tons of their toiletries and personal care items like toothpaste, hand sanitizer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash – pretty much any product you could think of that you’d need to keep in your guest bath. Also, in case you haven’t noticed, something I immediately loved about the products as I was browsing the Public Good website is how aesthetically pleasing everything is! Public Goods puts special care into making all their packaging minimal, sustainable and simple so it can work in any home! LOVE that!!

And they have so much more than just hygiene/bathroom products. You can order groceries, household stuff, vitamins/supplements, pet supplies – so many different categories!

The membership price is super reasonable too – only $59 for the entire year!! I recommend checking out this page on the Public Goods website so you can see the savings they are passing onto the customer with their pricing. I also have a code for y’all!! Use code BRIGHTON15 for 15% off your first order and a two-week membership trial period.

It’s been nice having these orders come in knowing that anything I buy will help the house feel just a bit more put together, which is huge for me right now!! Definitely give it a try and tag me and @publicgoods to let us know what you think!
