Doing something sweet and personalized for my bridesmaids was one of the little things I was really looking forward to when it came to wedding planning! I might not have ever thought about what kind of dress or wedding I wanted, but I DID dream about what little gifts I would get my friends! I think it’s such a fun little personalized touch and way to thank your friends for being there for you in the past and during this season especially! And obviously it is a lot of work, energy, and sometimes money when you’re in a wedding, so I wanted to thank them for that.

I’ve loved the gifts I’ve gotten from the weddings I’d been in previously and so I was excited to do the same for my closest friends.

I have a few more gifts for them like getting ready outfits and such, but I wanted to do something special for my “Ask”.

As I was thinking about how to do it (and with what), I had SO many ideas! But when it came down to it, I wanted to get them something I personally loved and that I felt like they could use in their everyday life. Oh, and I wanted it to be personalized with their name or initials, too.

I made a mental list of all the things I use on a daily basis and personally love! And this personalized Leatherology pouch is a favorite of mine (I have it in cream in the smaller version) and I thought a bigger one would make the perfect “Ask Gift” to send to my friends!

It took me forever to figure out which color leather I wanted and then which colors for the hand-painted initials, but I finally landed on blush pink. It was great to use the Leatherology customization tool on their website because I was able to mock up different color options to see what they’d look like. And I have to say, I LOVE how they turned out!

What did you do for your wedding?

I had a friend that wrote all of us personal notes and gave up a framed picture of the two of us. I still remember getting it in the mail to this day – SO SWEET! Or if you haven’t gotten married yet, have you thought about it yet??
