Y’all, Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. Are we ready?! I feel like it’s sneaking up on me quickly, so I wanted to get my first Valentine’s Day post up. I know gifts can be really tricky, especially if you haven’t been dating too long (or if you’ve been together for a while and feel like you’ve run out of gift ideas).

So I’ve put together two gift guides that will hopefully help make this Valentine’s Day a little easier — a gift guide for her and a gift guide for him. I tried to include a wide variety of gift ideas in this post so there’s truly something for everyone.

Duncan and I tend to keep our Valentine’s Days pretty low-key. Last year, Four was born five weeks early on February 8 (six days before Valentine’s Day), so we spent the day at home, trying to figure out how to take care of a newborn! ;)

Typically though, we enjoy spending time together during the day and then go to a nice(ish) dinner that evening. Quality time is my love language so getting to spend that time together is perfect! I do like to give Duncan something small each year though, and I’ve actually got my eye on a few things on this gift guide for this year!
