When it comes to denim, I’m typically a black, blue, or white girl. I tend to stick to very classic jeans that I can mix and match with everything. But some of you may remember I shared these plum-colored high-waisted coated skinny jeans a few months ago. To be honest, they’re totally out of my style comfort zone — and I absolutely LOVE them!

I’ve been basically wearing these weekly since I got them last year. They’re the most comfortable pair of denim I own, and I think they’re super flattering. I actually love the leatheresque sheen that these jeans have thanks to the coating. They give you the sleek look of leather leggings with the structure of denim. It’s seriously a win-win.

One of my favorite things about these jeans is the many ways I can style them. I’ve worn them with pumps and a chunky sweater for a more formal, monochromatic look and styled them with flats and a lighter sweater for a casual feel. But this may be my favorite look yet!

As we head into spring (okay maybe not for a few months, but a girl can dream, right??), I’m all about florals. So when I found this Stella Nova floral top on Shopbop, I immediately added it to my cart. I mean how cute is that color?! Plus, it’s the perfect transition piece as we experience this weird Dallas “winter weather.”

I paired the floral top and skinny jeans with my favorite pair of boots (sadly, they’re old, but I linked an almost *identical* pair here) and threw on a few fun accessories like this cowboy hat and my new faux fur handbag. I think this is such a cute and easy look to wear to dinner with friends or on a weekend date night!
