Fall

Navy Swing Dress

Hi there! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I was writing the date down yesterday morning and realized...wow okay so we are halfway through November. Like, wait WHAT?! Where did 2015 go?! #crazyness Anyway, here I am again in yet another swing dress. yes I love them very much if you can't tell. But can you blame me?! They're just so stinkin' easy and I absolutely LOVE how they look with a fun and festive blanket scarf - it might just be one of my favorite looks ever (aside from an oversized sweater and skinnies - you know that's my go-to and comfort zone).

Fall

Sleeveless Swing Dress

Trust me, you won't regret having one (or five!) of these EASY swing dresses (for under $45) in your closet. Seriously, I don't think there could be another wardrobe item that I throw on more, aside from maybe my XL Frat/Srat Tees (which I hold onto dearly...even though I'm probably way too old to still be wearing them hehe but there's just something about their softness that GETS me. ok stopping now) I'm sure you've noticed that I wear these easy swing dresses and tee-shirt dresses ALL the time and am not hesitant to continue adding more to my collection - because I'm not joking when I say I throw them on like it's my job. I like easy :) and I bet you do too! I've included more examples of these types of care-free dresses below (most from instagram and some from previous blog posts - but you can see that they're a great go-to!)

Fall

long white tunic

Gosh I love this tunic y'all. You've seen me wear it before on my instagram (wore this one here and my olive one here), but I wanted to dedicate an entire post to it because it's just THAT good. For the price of $42, it's such a legit staple for Fall and beyond. I love how it's super long and has a hi-lo hem so you can wear it as a tunic with leggings or over jeans like I did here (and I added a front-tuck because I'm so short AND because I wanted to wear tall boots).

Style

Black Shirtdress

Hope you all had a fantastic weekend. I totally meant to finish putting this post together last night but...ooops. I got distracted (#typical). I spent most of the day yesterday planning fall outfits and brainstorming content ideas for the blog. I feel like I actually got a lot done, but I have nothing to show for it because it was mostly "planning" stuff. Know what I mean? I kind of hate that part of the creative process... Anyway, I'm a big fan of this shirt dress look and think it's cute cinched at the waist or worn normally. It would also be super cute with a brown belt - like I wore it here.

Style

Striped Dress and Vest

I'm always game for another stripe dress. Sorry closet, but they ALL serve different purposes and we need to make room for all of them. K?! Great! Thanks! Like this one has sleeves and the material is a little thicker and I like the high neck and the thickness of the stripes. You see? There really are SO many variables that go into a striped dress. Who's with me?! And this vest, I love it. I have the topshop one from a few seasons back, but this one feels nicer and better and I think looks better all around. So bottom line is it's a winner :)

Summer

Easy Grey Swing Dress

When it's chilly out, I find myself wanting to throw on an oversized (cozy) sweater and skinnies pretty much every single day. And so on the flip side, when it's warmer out, I want to wear a swing dress (just like this one!) EVERY single day. I really like this one - the fabric is comfortable and has a little bit of stretch to it (so it's not just plain cotton).
