Hot Pink Dress

I've got a major love affair with this dress and I'm going to tell you all about it today. Not only does it comes in multiple (!) different colors but it's also under $50 - talk about a WIN. With 3/4 length sleeves and a not-too-low v-neck, this dress can easily be dressed up or down with the right accessories. It's perfect for throwing on to run around town - I love how flowy and easy it is and it looks super cute with sandals. But then you could also throw on some statement earrings or necklaces and heels to dress it up for an event or date night. All in all, it's a GREAT dress and I've been loving it!

Long Cardigan and Flared Jeans

If you haven’t noticed, I’ve been living in cardigans lately and have been mixing and matching them in so many different ways. Today I’m sharing a long cardigan and flared jeans outfit with you all to show you just how versatile a long cardigan really is. Seriously though, I feel like you can wear them with anything – as long as you have a little bit of a heel to…

Kimono Cardigan

Today I want to talk about how to wear a kimono and my love for kimonos in general. They might be one of my favorite spring accents to date because they do SO MUCH for an outfit and can easily be dressed up or down. With cool spring nights still in tact and music festival season on the horizon, kimonos as cardigans aren’t going anywhere anytime soon. How To Wear A…

Flowy Midi Skirt Outfit

I wore this flowy midi skirt outfit to an early Spring date night last week when the weather was a perfect 75 and the breeze was minimal. I’ll admit, it was a little premature to wear the look (given that it was literally the FIRST day of Spring), but regardless of when I wore it, it’s such a FUN outfit for the upcoming April and May Spring months (and summer…

What to wear to a bridal shower

What to Wear to a Bridal Shower Given that it’s almost the end of March and wedding season is upon us, let’s talk about what to wear to a bridal shower. Because I don’t know about you, but my fridge is flooded with wedding and shower invites galore – so much so that I had to order another batch of magnets yesterday on amazon prime to hang them all up! …

How To Dress Up A T Shirt

How to Dress Up a T Shirt Dressing up an everyday t shirt is one of my favorite stye challenges of all time. The only catch is that you’ve got to have some decent-looking t shirts that are a step above your typical Hanes v-neck tee from Walmart – although these too can be styled to look cute and put-together! And the good news is that you don’t have to break…

Blush Duster

Anytime I find something in this pretty blush pink color (and I like it, obviously) I try and snag it if I can - I just can’t get enough of it in my wardrobe. I love mixing and pairing blush with other neutrals for soft looks (especially monochromatic looks!) but I also love pairing it with darker hues like black and tan or even purple or red (I could go on…). It’s one of my favorite colors to wear BUT it has to be the right shade of pink or else it will wash me out. Anyway, I had this duster jacket in my shopping cart within seconds of seeing it and literally checked out right that second because I knew it was going to be super popular. In other words, it was most certainly LOVE at first sight with this piece - talk about a fun one to mix and match for different looks!

Neutral Stripes

I loved the not-as-basic color combo of this stripe tee. I guess I'm used to seeing black and white stripes (or navy or even grey), but it's not everyday that you see this taupe-ish color right? And I absolutely love how it looks with white jeans but I've also worn it with dark denim too and it looks just as cute. I added the chambray shirt because it's that awkward time of year where it's not quite Spring, but winter is definitely in the rear view mirror (at least down here in Texas). And so you never know if you'll need an extra layer or not since it tends to get chilly at night and windier than usual. And plus, I wanted to show you yet another way that you can wear your button up chambray shirt (as a light jacket).

Stripes and Blooms

I fell in love with this skirt from the second I saw it! How fun is this floral print y’all?! And I also adored the midi-ish length of it and knew it would be JUST the perfect addition for my swing wardrobe. And it pairs PERFECTLY with black and white stripes – don’t you think!? All in all, I’m a huge fan if you can’t tell :) Shop the post:…

Cream Sweater + Hot Pink Heels

Can we talk about how fun the back of this sweater is? I love the mixed-media design detail and the crossover panels with gold buttons. It livens up an everyday cream sweater into something much more interesting and fun! I also like how it’s a little longer in the back. With the sweater being simple (especially since I wore it with denim), I decided to add some sass to the…

Tan blazer + White Jeans

How to Dress Up White Jeans I have a major crush on this pastel pink color – I’ve ALWAYS been such a big fan and am thrilled that Rose Quartz was named one of Pantone’s colors of the year this year…yahoo! And I love pairing blush with other neutral colors or even with over shades of pink for a monochromatic look, but I especially love pairing this light pink hue…

Comfy Peep Toe Sandals + Oversized Swaeter

Is it obvious how much I LOVE this sweater? If you don’t remember, I also wore it in this blog post over my oversized chambray shirt. But I really want to talk about these peep toe sandal booties – not only is the color perfection but they’re super comfortable too! I wore them yesterday for an entire day of traveling (from Dallas to Mexico) and my feet still felt good…

Fall

long camel cardigan

I’d be willing to argue that a long camel cardigan is a closet must – at least for your fall wardrobe. And more specifically, it’s a great outfit accessory that proves useful during those transitional months (e.g., February/March and September/October) where it’s chilly but not necessarily freezing cold and snowing ( well at least in most parts of the country hehe). But really though, anything that’s camel or tan is…
