Tux Blazer // Long & Tailored Jacket // Bow Tie Shirt Dress // Peter Pan Collar & Sweater

I know we all have our separate day-time and night-time (aka “going out”) attire, but how about we mix those up a little? A little professional edge can never hurt…right?! Personally, I love sprucing up an old and blah sweater with one of my pointed-collar equipment blouses. Also, I have a peter-pan-collared shirt that’s also fun to put under a crew-neck sweater, like the Alice + Olivia one above. These looks wouldn’t necessarily be for “going” out but do make a rather nice alternative to usual. Even just the addition of a straight-edged blazer/jacket to your usual going-out-top, paired with skinnies, can make for a fun and different look. Thrown on a statement necklace and some bangles, and you’re set! And to finish it off, I recommend wearing your pointiest of stilettos to achieve both the intimidation and  sass factor, of course. I especially love the shorts + tailored tux jacket “look” and plan on trying this once I finish all this ridiculousness and actually have a life again. But until then, I can dream  and post inspiration for you guys! :)
