I fell in love with this skirt the second I saw it – I knew I just had to have it. Not only is it a fun cut and a sassy fit, but it’s also an amaze color – and super bright which you know I love! I wore this outfit during NYFW (…you might remember from this instagram post). And FYI, I  had on another huge coat on top of this 525 America short fur coat (I’ve literally had this for 8 years and STILL love it!).

And I’ll admit that I didn’t last too long in these pretty pumps +  bare legs + sans socks ensemble (ha! let’s get real here!). I mean, it was a nice thought and all but little miss Texas/Louisiana girl just didn’t know what she had coming for her with all the snow and wind chill. It didn’t take long before I changed into something a little less fashionable and a little more apres-ski-snow-bunny-ish (think snow boots and massive layering).

And now let’s discuss all the GiGi NY goodies I brought with me. When I was getting reading and thinking of how to stay organized while in NYC, I knew GiGi NY would be the perfect source for keeping my junk organized and pretty too. I usually carry around a huge wallet that actually looks more like one of those zip up planners, but I figured I’d need something more practical and smaller for my time in NYC – cue the GiGi NY mini iPhone Case + Wallet. And yes, it was perfect and exactly what I needed!

Within my purse, I used my clutches to keep things compartmentalized. Specifically, I used my all in one clutch for toting around extra makeup/phone charger/etc. and then my uber clutch (bigger) for my hand cream, candy/gum/mints, pens/sticky notes, and sunglasses. And then I carried around my planner too for notes and scheduling details (I go crazy if I only use my phone…I like to actually touch and feel and see it!)

I’m not sure if you follow GiGi NY on instagram, but I actually took over their instagram on day 2 of fashion week – I had such a blast working with them! Here’s one of the photos from the takeover with my uber clutch in white!
