Action is the Foundation of All Success – what a great quote! So simple, yet SO true.

Given the new year, I’ve been thinking a lot about goals in general and what it means to actually pursue them. And although having a plan and being organized is important, I think there should be just as much emphasis placed on simply getting started. Because I don’t know about you but I have a tendency to either not do enough planning or do way too much – and in either situation, it’s intimidating to simply get started (in the former you’ve got the BIG unknown and in the latter, you’ve got your own high expectations and/or self-inflicted pressures. right?) Either way, you’re left feeling slightly paralyzed. (or maybe it’s just me!?)

And given the new year and all the new goals in the air, I figured you all (and myself included) would find these simple words of encouragement to be empowering and particularly relevant during this new beginning. If you don’t mind, I’d love to hear what some of you are hoping to focus on in this new year and/or what your resolutions (whether “official” or just simply your casual thoughts) might be.
