Hi friends!

I remember covering this sale last year and it was such a struggle because I was in my first trimester and DYING (but I couldn’t tell y’all just yet)! So I was very thrilled to not feel terrible this year :) Slash I cannot believe it has been an entire year since the last time I was doing this – or almost a year since the sale was in August in 2020.

I shared this briefly on stories, but the sale feels different this year in a lot of ways. I think everyone feels a bit over it and I totally get that – especially when it seems or feels like everyone is pushing it. But even if it’s totally oversaturated, I still enjoy covering and shopping it year after year. I went shopping at the Dallas Nordstrom today and picked up a few things I wanted to share with you – I also have blog posts coming all week with my picks in additional categories.

A Few Quick Picks:

1. Barefoot dreams blanket – worth the hype in my opinion. I have the printed and the solid one, Duncan and Four also have them too :)
2. Hanky Panky low-rise underwear (the only thing I wear)
3. I’m thinking about getting myself these slippers
4. Need some more of my favorite hair ties
5. just added some of these pajamas in another color to my cart
6. Dyson vacuum – the one I have does not stay charged and drives me INSANE. So Im thinking I might get this if it’s still in stock by the time I decide to pull the trigger
7. about to get myself these slides I’ve had on my wishlist for over a year
8. I love my Stuart Weitzman boots. I’m sure they’ll sell out soon but if you’re in need of a good pair of black boots, these are GREAT. I got them 3 years ago and wear them all the time.
9. I’m sure if you read my blog, then you might already have some faux leather leggings. BUT on the off chance you don’t, and you’re wanting to snag some on sale, these are great! Our store did not really have much, but here are my favorites from what I saw (and what they had in my size!).

While this sweater is a tad on the pricer side, the quality of ALLSAINTS is so worth it. I immediately gravitated towards it and can see it being a staple in my fall wardrobe. I purchased two pairs of jeans this year and both were Good American. I’ve loved all my Good American jeans in the past and these did not disappoint!

I will never say no to a good Madewell sweater. They are one of my favorite brands and I usually wear something of theirs on (almost) a daily basis. I love the ribbed detailing of this sweater and all the subtle different colors in it, making it easy to match with just about anything!

I wish you guys could feel just how soft this sweater is. Feels like a literal cloud. It’s such an easy layering piece as well. Pretty lightweight so you could easily toss a jacket over it.

By far one of my favorite pieces I picked up this year. I feel like you could pair this with any kind of bottom and dress it up or down. The neckline is so gorgeous and feminine. I loved it so much I also purchased it in the leopard print! These are the second pair of Good American jeans I purchased. They 4 buttons down the front (which you can’t really see pictured).

Another Good American find. I am not usually a fan of body suits, so when I find one I really like I usually just leave the buttons un-buttoned. I can’t wait to wear this on a date night in the fall!

This cami was a last minute find before checkout, so I didn’t have time to try on. I was a bit iffy about it but was pleasantly surprised when I tried it on at home. I especially love it paired with this cardigan. The color combo is a fall wardrobe dream. The cardigan is SO soft. It’s a bit of a splurge but I just purged all my cardigans felt like I needed a nice new one!

This is the first of four black dresses I purchased this year. I didn’t realize till I got home that I purchased so many black dresses but they are all so different and good in their own ways. I got the wrong size in this, so it is a little big but I love it paired with this hat. Super flowy!

Who doesn’t love a little black dress? I’m glad I got a small in these because any smaller I think it would have been too tight for my liking. I like that theres a little wiggle room!
