Coats I’m Loving For Winter

I’ve said it before and I’ll probably keep saying it until the novelty wears off, but it’s so much fun experiencing all four seasons now that we live in Colorado – even winter! A lot of people I know who have moved from the south to a place that has winter aren’t big fans, but I’m obsessed. It’s like a whole new section of my wardrobe opened up and I can finally really enjoy dressing for colder temperatures. One of my favorite things to actually wear now that it’s cold enough is winter coats! And you know I’m constantly checking Nordstrom for their latest and greatest.

Nordstrom is a long-time partner of mine and I always go back to them again and again because their selection is SO GOOD and winter coats are no exception! I rounded up several different styles and options for any of y’all that might be shopping for them right now. From shorter, cropped options to heavier faux fur teddy options!

Love a cropped faux fur coat! This one is Topshop, which I’m so glad Nordstrom carries because I always feel like they have the best “trendy” selection. I think this one is very versatile too. You could easily wear it with a dress or skirt like I did here or with jeans or faux leather leggings.

If you’re looking for a traditional parka, this Gotham Power Down Hooded option is my favorite right now. It’s so warm but not too heavy and puffy. And there’s room to wear thicker things underneath like sweaters and blazers.

OK, oversized options like this teddy coat are everything for me right now! We’ve already been getting some snow here in Denver and this coat is perfect to throw on for a quick errand. It’s so warm, the color is very cheerful, which I love and, most importantly, it can fit around the bump!

I like to call this look “edgy Brighton” LOL. Very into the sleek, edgier look of the faux leather leggings and combat boots and then the softer more feminine faux fur teddy coat. Also, whoever said black and brown don’t go together had never worn this look because not to toot my own horn, but I think it’s perfection!

And one more shorter option! I thought I’d have to size up with this one to fit the bump but my normal size actually fit perfectly (for now!). I chose this coat for the shearling-style collar though – so good, right?! It also comes in black if you want more of that “edgy” look.

Thanks so much to Nordstrom for sponsoring this post. As always, all opinions are my own.
