Bump-Friendly Dresses at Every Price Point

Y’all, I’m finally to the point in this pregnancy where I’ve got to be selective with the clothes I wear. I’ve mentioned on here before that I’m not a big fan of maternity clothes, but I also can’t fit into most of my normal shorts, pants, and even dresses.

Thankfully, so many dresses accommodate a baby bump, even if they’re not maternity. Plus, once you get to about the halfway point in pregnancy, you’re pretty much just looking for comfort. Fortunately, these dresses are both comfy and cute so it’s a win-win!

Whenever I’m looking at dresses that I can wear while pregnant, I try to look for two things: Does the mid-section look restricting, and is the length long enough that it won’t become inappropriate once the bump pulls everything up a bit?

I do usually have to go up a size in dresses when I’m pregnant because my rib cage expands — an extra small doesn’t leave much room for breathing! But I actually prefer that because I can wear the dress during the days after pregnancy when I haven’t gotten back to my normal weight yet.

I’ve rounded up several great bump-friendly dress options for you below at all different price points. Seriously, this $35 dress from Target may honestly be my favorite of them all. How gorgeous is that color?! Anyway, happy shopping whether you’re a mama-to-be or just a lover of comfy dresses!
