Apologies for the late post – it’s almost 11 AM here! But this weekend was pretty jam packed and I didn’t really have much time to work! Also, my roomies and I had friends over last night and made home-made pizzas so that activity definitely won the battle of whether I should hole up in my room and work or hand out with them (obviously!). But it’s better late than never, right?! Please let me know if you have any questions about any of the outfits or if I missed any details – as always, I’m happy to answer!
PS: did you notice the site is looking a little different?! What do you think? It’s not entirely done yet, but I wanted to clean things up a bit and hopefully make this site easier for YOU to use. Because after all, that’s all I really care about anyway!
Sales & Markdowns
You might have seen I posted this photo last night on instagram, but I wanted to remind you that this sweater was just marked down 40% OFF! It’s actually selling super fast and the XS is already gone – last I checked.
Good news! Remember this dress I posted?! I just found it in stock at another retailer so I wanted to include it in this week’s round up! I also linked the slip I wore under it because it’s a little see-through.

Tuesday’s #OOTN for dinner at Taverna – I went to dinner with my friend Ashton from Baton Rouge. She was in town for work and wanted to go to my favorite spot. And at the moment, this is a no-brainer! I love Taverna and it’s so close to me too :)
Loving these neutral lace up heels! They’re super cute with rolled up jeans like I’m wearing below or with a skirt or dress for something a little fancier!
I posted this as part of my shopbop sale promo (sadly it’s over), but I wanted to include it in the round up just in case you still had questions about this top. It’s actually sold out in black, but I think I saw that the white was still in stock!
Photo Details: Scalloped Bikini top (sold out in black – but shop all styles by this designer here) // Monogram necklace (size 2x) // Gold double “hooping drop” earrings // Dior “Reflected” 52mm Sunglasses
Wore this little romper to run errands around town Thursday and get ready for the big weekend ahead. Even though I live in Dallas, I decided it would be a good idea to go ahead and stay at the Joule – the hotel where the conference was taking place. So I had to pack and get ready as if I were going out of town…
Quick #rStheCon Recap
Each year, Reward Style puts on a conference in Dallas, If you’re wondering what on earth Reward Style is, let me give you a rundown. Basically, its’ the company that helps connect bloggers (or publishers) with brands and retailers so that they can monetize their content. Reward Style and LiketoKnow.it are ONE in the same company – LTK is just a specific technology geared toward instagram (to learn more about it, visit this page).
The conference typically spans over three days and is a mix between educational and networking opportunities for both publishers and brands. The parties are always top notch and create a fun and exciting environment to meet new publishers (other bloggers) from all over the world and get to know the brands that attended to conference. If you want to know more about it, please feel free to ask and I would be happy to answer your questions! But for now, I’ll give you all a short recap of the weekend!
Thursday night Rooftop Pool Party with Missguided – This party is always my favorite event of the entire conference. For the past few years, the #rStheCon weekend has kicked off with this party and it’s always so much fun to see everyone that you haven’t seen since last year. There’s always fun and unique cocktails and an always-on-trend and exciting DJ playing fun music. It’s pretty impossible not to have a good time actually!
Friday // Day 2 of #rStheCon – Friday was mostly spent listening to panels in large ballrooms (very inspiring and awesome to hear about the industry and where it’s going!) and then meeting with brands. How fun is this navy velvet sofa in my Joule hotel room?! Each year my hotel room has been so different and unique – no two rooms are really the same (or at least not in my experience…)
Friday Lunch at Americano with Rodial // Table Details
Rodial a UK-based leading beauty brand. Before the weekend, I hadn’t ever heard of Rodial but after getting to know their PR team and learning more about the product, I’m excited to try a few things out. I’ll let you know how it goes and what I think of the product.
If you ever visit Dallas, this Restaurant is great! It’s located right next to the The Joule Hotel downtown and has an amazing atmosphere. There are HUGE windows pouring in natural light and I love the interior decor – you can see how charming the old wood tables look in the photo above. But aside from the great atmosphere, the food and cocktails are amazing! If you go, be sure to get the fried stuffed rice balls (not sure what they’re actually called but they’re AMAZING!)
Friday Night // Joe Fresh Garden Party at the Tasset Sculpture Garden
If you follow any bloggers on instagram or snapchat, then you probably noticed the HUGE eyeball on a green lawn because so many people were taking pictures of it (or have in the past years of the conference). This lawn is actually located directly across the street form the Joule Hotel (where the conference is held), so it makes for the perfect venue for fun parties.
This year, Joe Fresh threw an AMAZING garden party fully equipped with 10 or so flower adorned swinging benches and festive cocktails. I love the Joe Fresh team and have had a BLAST working with them over the past few months so I was super excited to get to meet the people I’d been emailing back forth with for months!
I started Saturday morning strong with eggs and grits from the The Joule Hotel room service – which was nothing short of exceptional!
Saturday #OOTD for lunch with LuisaViaRoma at the Tasset Sculpture Garden
Another look at the dress without the jacket on! And I actually took this one while I was at the party :) I wish you could see the BACK of this dress – it’s SO cool and the detail is amazing for the price.
I originally posted this photo to inform you about all the great shopbop savings, but I decided to include it in the round up just in case any of you had any questions! So here are the outfit details just in case: Blank NYC Jeans (under $90) // Black Tank (GREAT basic!) // BlankNYC “Private Practice” Mixed Media Drape Front Jacket // GiGiNY Tori Tote
