It has been QUITE the morning as I JUST got home from Denver. I can’t remember the last time I took a 5 AM flight but ouch those early AM flights are NO joke. But even with the early flight, a weekend away in Denver was just what the doctor ordered! I’ll do a little roundup of what we did and where we ate soon – it’ll just be a mini review since I didn’t really take enough photos or do enough for a full-on city guide.

It was SO great to get away from the heat and actually get to wear some of these sweaters I’ve been stocking up on for the season! Speaking of sweaters, did you see that Madewell is having a sale!? Madwell sale pics:

• I got this wrap-front pullover sweater in both colors. I love the burnt orange and the burgundy and couldn’t decide. I’ve since worn both a few times. The fit is great for dressing up or down and the colors pair well with regular denim or black jeans!
• I am so smitten with these leopard loafers I picked up last week! I cannot stop wearing them! If you saw my IG from this weekend in Denver, they’re the ones I wore traveling!
• These cognac slides are so adorable. They’ve been on my shopping list for a few months now and I think I’m going to finally pull the trigger now that they’re on sale. I just LOVE the color and how easy they are the throw on. I’ve had the black Gucci ones for 3 years now and wear them ALL the time, so I’d love to have a brown option!
