This week was a sweet one. Four turned one. We originally planned to have a birthday for him last weekend but the storms made it unsafe, so we will have to reschedule. But, we still had some family in town and had a small celebration with him. I love when family is here. It’s so much fun!

I also shared that one of my goals is to become a finance ninja this year. I really want to stay on top of it in business and in my personal life. You guys had so many good suggestions and I will be sharing soon.

I bought this last November and its been a go-to ever since. My mom also loves it! But, that’s not surprising as its comfortable and flattering! The black sweatshirt is sold out, but the whole set is still available in navy.

Fur Jacket, Silk Top & Snake Boots

I wore this outfit on a date with Duncan last week. It is the perfect winter/early spring date night outfit. It would also be a great option for valentines day. The top is low cut, but you can easily fix that with some fashion tape or tucking it into your bra (like I did!). The fur jacket is from H&M and under $100!

Madewell Henley & Flare Yoga Pants

I wore this on one of my work-from-home days. The henley is from madewell and so comfortable! You could also pair it with some jeans and sneakers for a casual day look. I wore it with some flare yoga pants from Nordstrom. I can’t believe flares are coming back into style. It reminds me of early 2000s. And I’m loving it.

I shared this outfit on the blog and in stories and it turned out to be very controversial. You guys had some very strong opinions. Some of you loved the look and some of you…. didn’t. And that’s ok! I love the 90s trend of pairing high socks and sneakers. But, its definitely trendy and I can see how some of you wouldn’t like it.
