Recipes I Want to Make This Month

It’s that time of the month again – I’m sharing all the recipes I’m interested in cooking this month! I had so much fun in July making Sriracha Shrimp Tacos and Hibachi Style Chicken with Magic Mustard Sauce, but I found some new, fun recipes for this month and I’m excited to share them with ya’ll!

Recipes I want to Make This Month

One Pan Harissa Chicken

We didn’t get the chance to make this recipe last month, so I had to add it again this month (LOL) look how yummy that looks! This chicken recipe from David Lebovitz looks perfect for summer comfort foods. The mix of baked chicken , potatoes, and yogurt sauce looks great for the nights you want something warm, but don’t have to commit to a heavy dish!

Slow Cooker Enchilada Quinoa

Duncan and I have actually cooked this dish from Creme De La Crumb and its now a household favorite! I love using Quinoa as a rice substitute and this dish is really good at adding the extra protein of Quinoa, while complimenting it with bold flavors. Can’t wait to eat this soon!

Chicken Gyro

We have been loving (and mean LOVING) sandwiches and warps lately! It’s been really hot during the day here in Denver and sandwiches are great for when you want to throw dinner together quick. Last week Duncan suggested we try Gyros one night, so I found this recipe! I’m already confident I’m going to love these Chicken Gyros from Cooktoria, but I’ll be sure to keep ya’ll updated!

Baked Orange Chicken

I’m not exaggerating when I say this Orange Chicken recipe from Together as Family is TO DIE FOR. I made this a couple months ago and it’s the perfect combination of sweet, crunchy, and tangy without being at all greasy. My mouth waters thinking about having this again.. I just might have to make it tonight!

Antipasto Mozzarella Sandwich with Lemony Basil Pesto

I already told ya’ll about mine and Duncan’s sandwich obsession lately, and although I haven’t tried this recipe yet, I’m really excited to go the extra mile and make this for lunch one day! This Antipasto Mozzarella Sandwich from Half Baked Harvest has great reviews and let’s be honest, you can’t go wrong with a Lemon Basil Pesto!

 Rigatoni with Sausage and Kale

Pinch of Yum actually calls this dish Date Night Rigatoni with Sausage and Kale, and I think that’s exactly what I’m going to be using this recipe for! Duncan and I love pasta paired with out favorite glass of wine, so I think this will be perfect for adding a little excitement to out dinner routine.

Tag me in your photos if ya’ll try any of these – I want to see the photos! :)
