The holidays are officially here! I can’t believe Thanksgiving is in two days. There’s so much I’m looking forward to this year now that Four is here. In case you missed it, I wrote a full post on some holiday traditions I want to start with our little family this year. I just love all of the firsts!

I also love getting to enjoy tons of festivities this time of year. Between holiday parties and fun gift exchanges with friends, it feels like there’s an excuse to dress up every other day. On the days when I don’t have much time to think about what I’m going to wear to an event, I tend to rely on my favorite outfit formula this time of year— coated skinny jeans + a cute sweater + booties or heels.

You might remember I styled this outfit recently on the blog using monochromatic colors. For the look I’m wearing here, I played with a fall palette of dark brown, light brown, and winter white. If I were having a more formal Thanksgiving, I would totally wear this outfit… but since I’ll be hosting and chasing a 9-month-old around the house, I’m going to stick with something more casual and save this look for another day.
