It’s that time of year again! The Sephora Savings event is here. This event is basically one of two BIG sales they do every year — one in the spring and one in the fall. The savings event starts today and goes through November 7th this year.

In order to save, you have to be a member of the Sephora Beauty Insider rewards program. I’ve been a member for years and it’s honestly got a ton of benefits, so I recommend it if you aren’t yet. It’s totally free to join, you just have to sign up on their website.

Within the membership, you can qualify for different levels depending on how much you spend. As soon as you join, you become a Sephora Insider and get 1 point back on any purchase you make. When you spend more than $350 at Sephora within a year, you earn VIB status and get 1.25 points back on purchases. If you spend over $1,000 at Sephora, you become a Rouge member and earn 1.5 points back on all purchases.

The fall savings event is a tiered sale (think Nordstrom sale). This year, all members get 30% off anything in the Sephora Collection for the entirety of the event. In addition to that, Rouge members get 20% off all items from today through November 7th, VIB members get 15% off all items starting November 1st through the end of the sale, and Insiders get 10% off starting November 3rd through the end of the sale. I always take advantage of the Sephora Savings event to stock up on my favorite hair products like the Living Proof dry shampoo and basically any Oribe product. This is also a great excuse to splurge on an item you’ve had your eye on like the Dyson Airwrap (see my full review here) or the T3 Curling Iron. I use both of those items regularly depending on the style I’m going for and can absolutely say they’re worth the cost.

Makeup Favorites

I typically keep my makeup pretty simple. I also know what products I like (through tons of trial and error) and what doesn’t work as well for me. Typically, I aim for high-quality products that will last me a while like the Ilia Cream Blush and the Dior Overcurl Mascara. I’ve also been using this Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner for quite a while and love the way it turns out. Also, do not sleep on this Laura Mercier Cream Eye Shadow!
