I’m SO happy to be back in Dallas….back with all my stuff (junk) and my car and my bed…and yeah, it just feels nice not to be living out of a suitcase. But unfortunately, I think I’ll be back on the road and all over the place in February (ugh dreading it already!)

February is one of the craziest (!) months of the year. Literally, EVERYTHING happens at once. We are shipping Spring production from the warehouse, selling Fall 15 AND designing Spring 16 ALL AT THE SAME TIME. And honestly, I’ve tried to figure out a way to spread it out but due to the nature of the business and the wholesale market, there’s just no other way. Eeek!

Oh, and then there’s fashion week in the middle of all that too. I can’t figure out whether I want to make the trip this year…NYC in Feb. really is SO cold. Am I rambling? sorry…just talking about what’s on my mind ;)

I’m thinking about maybe doing videos. I’m a little intimidated and honestly clueless about how to even go about making a video, but I think it would be fun. And I’m trying to think of new ways to engage with YOU. What kind of content would YOU like to see in 2015 on BrightonTheDay?

I want to do something different than everyone else. I feel like, these days, every fashion blogger seems to be doing the same thing…and I don’t want to just blend in. I hope to bring you something fresh, inspiring, and different than anything else on the interwebs. Any insight/ideas/thoughts would be greatly appreciated ;)
