I’m not always one to try trendy looks, but I figured I’d give it a try just for kicks and giggles.

For this post, I actually tried two “trends” :
1. Shorts over tights and
2. Open-toed shoes with stockings/tights.
I’ve never tried wearing shorts over tights, but I wanted to try it because I think winter shorts are so cute! Plus, sometimes wearings dresses and skirts and pants gets really old. I definitely think this “look” would look much better on someone with really long, skinny legs…but I must work with what I have :) haha

For those of you who are more conservative…here is the same outfit with some simple DK pumps! I love the ALL black continuous-tights-and-shoes-look.
