There’s no color that communicates luxury and sophistication quite like the color camel. I mentioned my love for the classic trench last week (especially the iconic camel-colored look), and today I want to mention another classic closet staple – the camel colored sweater (whether it be turtleneck, cashmere, crew neck, slouchy or whatever – there’s no doubt it’s a timeless, versatile and classic addition to any wardrobe).

There’s just something about a camel colored sweater (or really, camel-colored anything) that simply looks expensive. Maybe it’s the long-standing influence of iconic, fashion makers such as Ralph Lauren and Burberry. Or maybe it’s the sheer sophistication of the classic trench coat that is so often associated with the color. But regardless, one can’t deny that there’s a sort of ingrained timelessness and luxury that the hue emanates – a classic ‘air’ that upgrades any outfit.
