pants: old navy Diva pant ($25!) // sweater: old navy ($20!) // blouse: vintage // shoes: dee keller // lips: NARS red lizard // bag: dee keller // necklace: gorjana tanner necklace (c/0) // bracelets: hermes, stella + dot,  michael kors // sunglasses: forever 21 (I couldn’t find the link! sorry!)

I’m embarrassed and a little hesitant to admit that I’ve never really shopped at old navy before (ahh! I know!). I guess I’ve just never really lived near one (like in a 3 mile radius) and I grew up buying most my clothes at local boutiques or online. But you should know that I made my debut in the world of old navy last week, and I’m thrilled to report that I had an excellent experience. Now, it didn’t blow me away or anything, but I was able to find a few great finds.

[Ok. I’m feeling the need to insert a little disclaimer before you continue reading – I’m about to say A LOT (like a ridiculous amount, actually) about sweaters. So, proceed at your own risk…. ]

You know how there’s always that one person (usually a girl) who’s always cold/chilly – no matter what the season? Yeah, guilty.  And since I spend most of my time inside these days, it really doesn’t matter what’s going on with the weather; I’m going to bring a sweater with me each and every day. Period. The end. Because I’ve learned the hard way that I’ll be sorry if I don’t- the AC can be quite unpredictable at some of the clients’ offices!

Due to my chilly-no-matter-what “issues”, I’ve acquired quite the collection of cardigans and sweaters over the years to help me cope.  I’ve noticed that I prefer sweaters that are just stretchy enough, easy to button up, and have a crew neck collar. Also, 3/4 sleeves bother me  (like the ones at J.crew) because the rest of my arm is still chilly! Anyway, to sum this up, I got a few of the sweaters at old navy ($20! woohoo!) and I’m obsessed. I know… I say I’m obsessed with a lot of things and I say it often. But what I mean (by “obsessed” in this particular case)  is that it’s perfect for me, comfortable, budget-friendly, and comes in a variety of fun (and basic) colors! Tired of hearing about a silly sweater? ha! Needless to say, I’m quite the fan girl and will probably acquire every color eventually (don’t judge).

whew! Geez. moving ON! How cute are these pants? And the price makes them even cuter. If you’re in the market for tailored pants, I’d recommend trying these out. They’re nothing extraordinary, but they get the job done. And, they have a little bit of stretch, which I find helps a lot for wearability and fit.
