3 Wearable Spring Trends

Today’s post was really fun for me to put together because it made me feel like “normal” again. I know things are FAR from normal in reality, but one of the things I’m doing to help get through this time is finding some joy and excitement in the little things and putting together a post for you guys on some of my favorite spring trends is definitely one of those little things. Also, shoutout to Duncan for snapping the pictures for me because #socialdistancing!

With that said, I was tasked by Nordstrom to choose some of my favorite trends this spring and I think I came up with some really great options that I’m excited to share with everyone! The three trends I chose are not only super cute but they’re *wearable*. Because I don’t know about you but sometimes I feel like trends you see at fashion week or in magazines aren’t necessarily “ready to wear”, ya know? Anyway, here are the trends I chose! I hope y’all love them and that this content gets you excited for when we reach the other side of all this!

Tie-Dye

Tie-dye. is. everywhere. Like I can’t get on Nordstrom’s website without running into a cute tie-dye sweatshirt I want to buy. It’s such a fun, kinda unexpected trend that I honestly didn’t know if I would like but it’s safe to say I’m obsessed. And it’s super easy to wear! I love this option to wear with jeans because the twist detail elevates it a bit while this style is perfect to wear with leggings or joggers.

Low Strappy Heels

As someone who *really* enjoys wearing heels, I am absolutely loving this trend. Nordstrom has tons of cute low strappy options right now that are a throwback to the 90s and early 2000s in the best way. This pair is one of my favorites – I love the coloring on the heel! So pretty, right? Also really liking all the block heels on these shoes. It makes them more comfortable and easy to walk in.

Smocked Tops

I’ve been wearing this trend for about a year now and I fully plan on keeping it going through spring and summer. There’s just something about a smocked top that screams sunshine don’t you think? I love pairing them with high waisted jeans like I did here. The top I’m wearing is so flattering between the smocking and the peplum hem too, which is another reason I love this trend and wanted to share it with y’all.

I really tried to pick trends that would get you guys excited for life this summer after all the craziness of the pandemic has settled down a bit. Hopefully this brought you the same little spark of joy putting this together for y’all brought me!
