It’s been a minute since I’ve done a post exclusively on accessories, so I decided to share some of the hats and sunglasses I’ve been wearing nonstop this summer. I’m always wearing a hat to keep my face covered whenever we’re outside on walks or just hanging out in the backyard but being pregnant in the summer is a whole different story.

During pregnancy, you’re way more susceptible to sun damage because of the increased hormones in your body, and I know a LOT of women who struggle with melasma (discoloration of the skin due to hormone changes) while pregnant. So I’m just extra diligent during this time to be safe.

For casual days, I love a good baseball cap like this one from Madewell. However, when I’m at the pool or actually wearing something other than workout clothes, give me all the “extra” hats! The bigger, the better, in my opinion. This oversized boater is my current obsession.

When it comes to sunglasses, I typically rotate between 2 or 3 that I’m really into at the moment. Right now, I can’t get enough of these Ray Ban Round Metal glasses and these Lele Sadoughi x Atlantic Pacific Cat Eye glasses.
