6 Easy 4th of July Side Dishes

I’m back from Portugal and right in time to celebrate the best holiday of the summer – the 4th of July!! Y’all know I love any excuse to head to the beach or a pool, hang out with friends and family and eat allll the good food! Speaking of food, anyone responsible for bringing a side dish to a potluck for the 4th? I know whenever I have to bring something to a potluck, I head straight to Pinterest and usually wind up choosing a recipe off of some kind of quick roundup. So, this year I thought I’d create my own little roundup! I’m still working on perfecting my cooking skills, but I feel like all of these recipes are pretty doable, even for a beginner like me! I hope this helps you put together something delicious and you have an amazing 4th of July!

Easy 4th of July Side Dish Ideas

Classic Potato Salad – Potato salad is always a good idea in my opinion. Not gonna lie, I would usually run to the store and grab a premade container, but I feel like I might finally be ready to make my own. This must be what #adulting feels like.

Avocado Salsa –  This recipe looks super refreshing and can be made in like 10 minutes. It’s like a sophisticated version of chips and salsa. Plus,  anything that tastes good and is ready fast is a winner in my book.

Jalapeno Cornbread Muffins – If you want to go with a comfort food side dish, cornbread is definitely the way to go. It says these only take 30 minutes from start to finish, so sounds very manageable! I know if I brought these to a potluck my friends and family would be IMPRESSED.

Strawberry and Spinach Salad – Sometimes a potluck needs a fresh summer salad to lighten things up a bit and this one basically made my mouth water just reading about it. I might have to make it sometime for me and the roomies!

Next Level Pasta Salad – I say next level because this pasta salad looks like a fresh vegetable medley with just the right amount of cheese – and who doesn’t like a little cheese?!

Herb Avocado Dip – I don’t know about you, but I love it when I show up to a potluck and see a bunch of good dips. This one looks amazing and is a little outside the box.
