4th of July Outfit Inspiration

Brighont Butler wearing blue leatherology bag with blue tuckernuck dress

The 4th of July is almost here and I, for one, am really looking forward to it this year. For some reason, this has always been one of my favorite holidays to celebrate. It’s an excuse to make delicious food and have a relaxed hangout with family and friends.

This year, we will be in Aspen on July 4th, so I’m also excited to see what kind of activities they do there. Plus, let’s be honest, it will be nice to have some cooler weather for a while. Summer in Texas when you’re pregnant is rough (I was in Denver during my last pregnancy and then moved back to Texas in the winter so I did not experience this!).

Whether you’ve got a celebration on the calendar for Independence Day this year or you’re keeping it casual with a cookout and fireworks, it’s always fun to bust out the “patriotic clothing.” (We’ve come a long way since the matching Old Navy t-shirts of our childhood, am I right!?)

I’ve rounded up some of my favorite red, white, and blue pieces below. I’ve got my eye on a few of these looks for the summer — especially the loose, flowy dresses.
