Maybe it’s just me, but I’ve noticed that it’s easier for me to wear pointed toe shoe to work simply because they seem to look better with work-ish attire (e.g. pencil skirts and trousers). But I have SO many cute round toe shoes and not so many pointed-toe ones, so I had to find a way to make them work and look right. It could just be personal preference, but I’m not a fan of rounded-toe shoes with flared or even wider-leg trousers or pants; straight leg, though, is another story–it sometimes works. I’m mainly talking about rounded-toe wedges because I have worn the “Valerie” (by dee keller) shoe with a pencil skirt (see this post) and it looked fine!

But as you can see in this outfit, you have complete shoe (toe) freedom when you pair them with pencil-style (or just skinny around the ankle) pants. What do you think? Have you ever run into this issue or thought about it before?
