I know I’m a little behind the times here, but I’m newly obsessed with subscription boxes! Like, why hasn’t anyone told me how freakin’ awesome they are?! I recently started researching some – whether for fashion, beauty, or home goods, and now I can’t get enough. I mean, it doesn’t get easier than items getting shipped to your front door, and I’m really loving the companies who make things personal. Plus, it’s so dang fun getting surprises (since that’s basically what they are!).

Clothes wise, it’s no shocker that I love Nordstrom’s version of a subscription box, Trunk Club. I love that while you
can schedule to receive every month or quarter, but really Trunk Club only sends you a box when you request them. I mean, how cool is this…you go through a personalized quiz of sorts and get to answer a bunch of questions about what you like to wear (colors, styles, fits, etc) and your sizing. (OK, I shouldn’t say a bunch – it seriously took me 3 minutes, but felt thorough.) Then, a personal stylist from Trunk Club gets all your information and you have the chance to hop on a call with them to talk through everything. I LOVED this unique aspect because it made me feel like my style was truly being understood. And the best part is you don’t have to pay extra for the stylist aspect. In true Nordstrom fashion, the customer service is above anywhere else #thebest.

So, after going through the quiz and talking to my stylist BFF, I got my box in the mail! You can choose how often you want to receive the boxes aka shop – I went with the monthly choice. I can’t tell y’all how nice it is to basically have someone do your shopping for you. Not only did it save me time of browsing online (and the distraction), but I actually received items that were SO BRIGHTON. Like, it’s so cool! I even got some straw slides that I might not have picked out at first glace, but I truly love them. Which is another cool aspect of Trunk Club – they kinda expand your style for you. For anyone who gets in fashion ruts, this is a nice feature in my opinion!

My stylist and I talked about how obsessed I was with lavender, so she sent a really cute top in that color. Obsessed! I also got a couple pairs of denim (since I mentioned that I wear these often), and one of my favorite pairs are the ones in these pics. I love a good pair of jeans with an accent, and these are so stinkin’ adorbs. I was able to choose what I loved (mainly everything in the box) and then sent back one thing I actually already had (ha!). So you can just keep what you like and send the rest back – you only pay for what you want.
