Gift Guide for Her: Gifts for Mom that Keep on Giving

toms-gift-guide

The holidays are the time of year for giving to and thinking of others. And it’s always a better holiday season (for you!) when we get started early and start planning – don’t you think? This way, it’s more about doing something special and less about just getting it done (or crossing it off the list!) I’m excited to be teaming up with Target for today’s post to give you some ideas of gifts that are bigger and more meaningful than the gift itself. I wanted to think outside the box for this gift guide and think of gifts that might be a little more special ;)

TOMS for Target – I love this campaign that is launching in a few weeks on November 16th! For each item purchased, a gift will be given to those in need! Just like TOMS provides shoes to children in need, this initiative with Target will provide meals, blankets and much more. I’m loving a bunch of the items – like this poncho above! Stay tuned for the collection to launch ;)

Truffle transparent purse organizer – I know it seems like a simple gift but I think this would be much appreciated by the mothers of this world. Why? Because it’s next to impossible to keep a tidy and organized purse. And these little pouches are perfect for compartmentalizing and keeping all the mess a little more straight.

Personalized leather gloves – I thought these were special mostly because they’re personalized but also because she’ll think of you every time she’d cold and puts on her gloves ;) and because, they’re just a great gift!

Thank you notes – sometimes, adorable stationary is just the extra bit of motivation she needs to sit down and actually write that thank you note!

TOMS wedges – these new wedge booties by TOMS are different than their typical shoes and are super stylish. Like all things by TOMS, purchasing a pair of these will provide a pair of shoes to a child in need!

Bamboo Garden Trowel

Kate Spade ‘On Purpose’ – how adorable is this scarf? It’s actually made by women in Rwanda and is part of a bigger project to help promote sustainable economies and jobs to women in need. If you ask me, THAT makes it much more special ;)
