Every year, I like to find a pair of go-to boots to add to my fall and winter wardrobe. Last year it was the Loeffler Randall Goldy Boots that stole the show. I still wear those quite a bit, but once I spotted the Schutz Maryana Block Boots (dare I say this season’s it boots?!), it was game over.
Black Block Boots
These boots are like a play on the classic black Cowboy boot that was so trendy last year. But they’re much more timeless IMO. The fit is truly perfect — love where they hit right below the knee — and the material is high quality and durable. My only complaint is that they don’t come in more colors!
First off, these boots are *so chic* and super high quality. They’re made from a nubuck cowhide material, which I’ve found to be very durable. And the pointed toe makes these feel elevated compared to other boots IMO.
One thing I really love about these boots is their fit. So many pairs I tried on were huge around the calf and felt gaudy and just… not cute. These are narrow enough up the calf that they feel fitted without being too tight.
Also, this is a random note, but I really like that they don’t have a zipper on the side. Any time I see boots that zip up, they feel lower quality to me. These are made with a pull-on design.
So far, I’ve styled these boots with dresses, leggings, and jeans. Even though they’re made with a tighter fit, they still work with skinny jeans, which is a big win in my book.
Hope y’all love these as much as I do. I just wish they came in other colors!
