The 2022 Trend I Never Knew I’d Love

It feels like forever since I’ve done a style post, but I finally shot a few looks to share with y’all this week that I absolutely love. I know a lot of you probably think I’m crazy for wearing a dress (without leggings or tights underneath) in the middle of January, but it’s been in the 60s and 70s here in Dallas this week. I’ve got mixed emotions about it, but it’s definitely giving me spring vibes and making me want to wear all the florals and dresses.

When I placed my order for this dress several weeks ago, I thought it’d be months before I could wear it… but alas, winter in Dallas! I was actually super hesitant to click “buy” on this dress because it felt too busy for my style. I tend to lean towards a more traditional simple style without a ton of print. But I thought all three of these prints were so fun, and I love the idea of mixing them all — plus, mixed prints are actually supposed to be a big trend in 2022!

I found this English Factory dress online at Shopbop. I’m all about a long sleeve dresses (really any dress with sleeves) as we transition into spring. Pairing it with boots is the perfect way to pull off a dress when it’s still cold outside. Since this dress is pretty busy, I kept the rest of my accessories super simple. My boots are older, but you can find similar here and here, and my bag is vintage!
