Stuff You Can Actually Wear Right Now

It’s officially fall, but to be honest it doesn’t really feel like it. Even for Dallas I feel like the weather is way behind schedule as far as cooling down goes. Because of the tricky temps lately, I’ve had lots of questions about what I’m actually wearing right now. You guys see me every day on Instagram and I do my best to always share details with y’all but basically I’m living in flowy tops, denim, casual midi dresses and booties and mules. They’re what I’ve dubbed my transitional basics!

The best place to find TONS of options for these basics is definitely Nordstrom. It’s always my go-to and they have a lot of cute tops, dresses, denim, etc. to wear during this tricky time of year at all different price points. Plus, I feel like this is the kind of stuff I know I wear the most of, so I think you’ll get so much wear out of whatever you buy from this list. There’s a little bit of everything but let me know if there’s a specific area you want to see more of!

Flowy tops

I’m kinda obsessed with the peasant top trend right now, which works out well because flowy tops are a must for this in between weather we’re having, ya know? I don’t like anything too clingy and these all fit loosely without being baggy.

Mules and booties

You could definitely say I’m obsessed with mules and booties, but they just work with everything! From dresses to jeans to shorts even, they’re the most versatile shoes I own. I like to have a few different styles of classic colors like brown and black, but then also throw in some fun options like white and snakeskin.

Denim and midis

I have an obsession with midi skirts slash dresses I don’t see this changing any time soon. I know once I move to Denver I probably won’t be able to wear them quite as frequently as I do in Texas, but they’ll always be a closet staple for me this time of year. On the flip side, I’ve always been a girl who loves denim and I’m excited to get to wear it even more once I’m officially in Colorado!

Thanks so much to Nordstrom for sponsoring this post!  As always, all opinions and picks are my own.
