A good handbag can make any outfit even that much better, and I truly believe that spring bags are some of the best. They’re just such a fun way to incorporate some pops of color to your outfit that you wouldn’t have otherwise. As you can tell from the photo above, I am clearly really into the colorful spring handbag right now.

I’m also a big believer in mixing highs and lows, so you’ll see some of my favorite handbags this spring are under $50. I love changing up the sizes and textures of the bags I carry too. Honestly, it’s not that much different than styling a room in your home — it’s all about adding dimension to your look!

For instance, I really love the texture of these beads on this lime green baguette bag that I styled with this bright pink dress from Target (the dress is only $30, y’all!). The braided detail on this blue mini bag from Mango is also a great way to include a fun touch to your outfit.

Of course, you can’t go wrong with something more classic like the Saint Laurent monogram satchel. This type of bag is perfect to wear year-round and will truly never go out of style in my opinion.

I should note for all you moms out there, I usually carry a larger tote (in addition to whichever small bag I have) when I’m with Four to carry all of his toys and random belongings. Some of these bags could accommodate all of our stuff, but let’s be honest, toddlers require a lot of stuff.
