I KNOW, y’all. This outfit is a little OUT there but I kinda love that about it. It’s fun to do things a little differently and color outside the lines from time to time – don’t you think?

These shoes were love at first sight and I’ve been crushing on all the pearl details I’ve been seeing everywhere lately. If you haven’t noticed by now, pearl embellishments are everywhere this season and slowly making their way into everyone’s wardrobe. This new fashion statement takes on the traditional accessory, pearl jewelry, and gives it a modern look. You can now sport your pearls not only around your neck, but on sneakers, denim jackets, and the hem of your cropped pants. A once feminine and sometimes outdated accessory is making it’s comeback in a huge way! (yahoo!)

You don’t have to be a super “girly” dresser in order to pull this off. Pearls are transitioning from the classic to the rocker chic in multiple ways. I’ve found a lot of ways to introduce pearls into my wardrobe, but I think this may be my favorite so far. I love the detailing on the hem of these pants. It allows for me to dress up and down the pearl look. I could wear this with a knit sweater and some slides or with pumps and a silk blouse.
