Last Instagram Round Up of 2019!
I hope ya’ll had a wonderful holiday week! Mine was so great! I spent the weekend before Christmas in New Orleans celebrating my brother and future sister-in-law. Duncan and I drove to Austin the week of Christmas and celebrated with his family. Now, we’re in Aspen celebrating Duncan’s birthday and New Years with my family. It’s been such a whirlwind but also SO MUCH fun!! The holidays are always busy and full of fun. Below is a review of what happened at Brighton The Day this week, just in case you missed it.
I wore this to my brother and future-sister-in-law’s engagement party. It was a great party and this dress was perfect! I LOVE the bow detail and it was comfortable enough to wear all night.
I wore this on our drive to Austin. It was SO comfy. Plus, how cute is this set! It’s great to wear around the house, running errands or on a road trip :).
The first night in Austin, I wore this little number. You guys, I know I say I love a lot of things, but I LOVE this top. SO CUTE! I love it styled like this, but it would be super easy to wear all year long.
A few weeks back, I was in Dallas. So of course, when I was there, I worked with one of my favorite photographers. This is the first photo from the shoot I’ve shared. This outfit is a great everyday option, or add some heels for a night out.
Christmas Eve I shared my favorite hot chocolate recipe on the blog. It’s simple to make and so yummy to drink. Plus, this dress is AMAZING. It’s a sweater material with puff sleeves. It runs small, so size up.
That evening, Duncan and I attended Christmas Eve service with his family. I wore this simple black dress with a pop of red. The dress is very versatile. It’s great for date nights and cocktail events.
We headed home on the 26th. As soon as we arrived home, Duncan and I had our own Christmas in our favorite Christmas pajamas. The pajamas run big, so size down.
Our first night in Aspen I wore this outfit. This coat is so warm! I love the fur detail, it’s refined and could be dressed up or down based on the outfit. The leopard sweater is comfy yet stylish. I paired the outfit with my favorite pair of Abercrombie jeans and some low shaft booties.
