Gift Guide for Your Parents

I’m really good at getting gifts for myself (ha!) and my girlfriends that want the same things I do, but when it comes to what to get mom and dad, it takes me a bit longer. I usually end up waiting until right before Christmas because I keep telling myself I’ve got more research to do! NOT the year, y’all! I’m way ahead of the game and I hope I’ll inspire you to be as well! Back in October, when I was brainstorming Holiday content, I asked y’all on stories if you’d be interested in seeing a gift guide dedicated 100% to WHAT to get Mom & Dad and you guys were totally on board! That being said, here ya go! Gift ideas for mom and dad!

For Mom:

Barefoot Dreams Cardigan – Y’all this cardigan is LIFE. It is incredibly soft and feels like you are cozied up in your favorite blanket all day long. I highly recommend this for your mama, especially if you’re splurging a bit this year. She will love the look and feel, plus they deserve it don’t they?!

Marble Personalized Cheese Board – This is such a sweet gift for your mom or even mother-in-law #browniepoints. Everyone needs a good cheese board they can pull out when hosting and this is one of my all-time faves. Add a bit of personalization and it will easily be one of your most thoughtful gifts ever.

Zebra Tray – I obsessed w/ this jewelry tray especially when paired with a cute pair of earrings placed on top. This gold and white trinket holder will be the perfect addition on your mom’s bathroom counter – especially if she’s a big jewelry wearer. For under $40, this is a no brainer!

Monogrammed Scarf – I don’t know why mom gifts always bring to mind large scarves?! In case you haven’t gotten her a scarf in years past, this neutral white and brown check will go with everything. You can also get in monogrammed for a cute added touch!

For Dad:

Patagonia Zip Sweater – If your dad doesn’t have this sweater, he needs it! I love how versatile it is and will last him forever. My dad has something similar and he pretty much wears it every day in winter.

Apple Watch Charging Station – This is just a freakin’ COOL gift. Even for the tech dad that has everything! Buy him a charging station that he can hang his new apple watch on, or all his other gadgets. It’s super easy to use and will make his nightstand a bit neater.

Personalized Martini Shaker – Who doesn’t love a good martini? I know my dad does. This is a fun gift idea for the dad or father-in-law that has everything. Add a personal touch to his bar area with this martini shaker, and it’s just fun.

Bottle Opener – I love gift ideas that use practical things and make them new and fun. He might have a handheld bottle opener (so 2016), but this wall mount opener will make his life a whole lot easier. It even has a magnet towards the bottom that catches the cap so it doesn’t fall on the floor!
