“How Do Your Nails STAY White?”
Good question! I think this is because I don’t get regular nail polish. Instead, I get the powder, which is much thicker than typical nail polish and it doesn’t stain as easily! So my nails stay white (and zero chipping too!) for at least 3 weeks! I love it!

“Where did You get Your Diamond Necklace?”
Unfortunately, it can’t be purchased anywhere! The diamond necklace that you see me wearing just about every day is custom-designed by my mama – she is SO talented. My two sisters and I all have similar necklaces that we got when we turned 18 years old. Each of the diamonds was previously my mom’s and then turned into a necklace for us, so they’re very special to us!

“What’re Your Favorite Denim Brands?”
If you follow me, then you know I love to wear jeans. If I’m not wearing leggings or sweatpants, then I most likely have jeans on – especially since I work from home; I like to be comfortable! At the moment, I am loving MOTHER denim, Citizens of Humanity (especially the ‘Rocket’ cut), AG, and Rag & Bone.

“What Do You Tell Your Hairdresser When You Get a Haircut?”
I get this question a lot, so I wanted to address it. I JUST started sporting short hair towards the end of 2017 and have LOVED it! I’ve always been a HUGE proponent of layers and always ask for as many as possible – especially around my face. I find that having lots of layers helps give my hair personality AND it tremendously helps with achieving the volumized look I love so much. Honestly, without layers, I feel like my hair looks SO “blah.” I always try to go to an Aveda salon because I love the way they’re taught to cut hair in training – I think they have a specific technique or something? I don’t know; I’ve just always gone to an Aveda salon! If you live in Dallas, I go to Jennifer at Michael Raymond salon in Mockingbird Station.

“Where Did You Go To School? What Did You Major In?”
I went to The University of Texas in Austin and loved it! I’m originally from Baton Rouge, Lousiana (where I went to U-High if you’re from there!). So going to Texas was an out-of-state experience for me, which made it even more fun because I got to meet so many new people! I majored in Business Honors (it’s a special program at UT) & Accounting. And then after school, I got my CPA and worked at a ‘big four’ public accounting firm.

“Who Takes Your Photos?”
It really just depends. I don’t have a go-to person, to be honest – a lot of people take my photos! Depending on the situation, I’ll either have a family member, friend, or my assistant take them but then I also meet with a photographer at least once a week to shoot DSLR photos. Sometimes though, I’ll even meet with a photographer to take iPhone photos because I want an extra creative eye to help with styling and angles. The photographers I work with the most are Beckley Co. and Vanessa. When I’m traveling with my family, my Dad is the real MVP! He’s so patient and has gotten really good with angles on the iPhone :)

“What Kind of Bible Do You Use?”
I actually have SEVERAL different bibles and use them all. I don’t know why, but I like to switch things up! I recently just purchased the She Reads Truth bible and have been loving how pretty it is!

“What kind of camera do you use?”
I use a mix of both DSLR photos and iPhone photos. I love having an every-day feel missed in with the more professional-looking photos to give my brand more of a girl-next-door-ish vibe to it. And plus, I want to make sure I stay relatable :) But when I do shoot, I personally use a Canon Mark 5D Mark IV and am always switching up my lenses but my personal favorite is my Sigma 24-70 2.8.
