Y’all know I’m the furthest thing from a trendsetter in this industry, but every now and then, I find one I like that I can actually incorporate into my everyday looks. For me, the most important thing when it comes to style is comfort — and what’s more comfortable than sneakers with jeans? So when I spotted a few of my favorite always-on-trend girls sporting this look, I decided to give it a shot.

Now that I’ve got an (almost) toddler running around, I’ve become an even bigger fan of sneakers. Make them look chic? I’m in even more. I think New Balance sneakers are some of my favorites because they always feel in style, yet they’ve got a classic look to them also.

For this everyday look, I decided to try out the high socks and sneakers trend but keep the rest of my look pretty timeless. I’m OBSESSED with this French Terry Coat from Nordstrom. It definitely fits a little oversized (I’m in an XS) but I personally like that look versus a tighter fit. I paired my coat with a classic black turtleneck and my favorite pair of light jeans and voilà!
