Each one of these items above makes me smile. I’ve been wearing my burgundy-colored lips for a while now, but I’m just realizing that “oxblood” is a whole other ball game. Meaning, burgundy and oxblood aren’t exactly synonymous. Right? and I don’t think my Nars Scarlett Empress (although I LOVE it!) is “brave” or dark enough to be considered oxblood – I think I want to try their Vendanges color. This Tom Ford color looks amazing too. No?

and Can we just smile about this Feather Skirt? Yes. It’s AWE-some. If I wasn’t starting work in like T minus-way-TOO-few-days, I would totally buy it. But I don’t think it will be acceptable at the office and I should probably save my dollar bills. If you think it’s too much for you, it’s not. Just dress it down with a casual shirt if you don’t want to look too “high maintenance” or worry if you can pull it off or not. Trust me, you totally can! (just don’t wear high-kneed boots….that might be a BAD look imo).

Moving onto the Cheetah Coat, I’ve been swooning over one ever since I saw Miss. Blair sporting hers last Fall. It’s such a cute look; and although it’s a print, (i think) you really can wear it just like a black or brown solid one. This Free People one above is a decent price, considering the comparable options.

And have you ever tried this Nars Illuminator. It was almost to good to tell everyone about….if you know what I mean. Sometimes you want to keep the good stuff to yourself (ha!). But I got over that REAL fast because I wanted to share the good news :) If you haven’t given this stuff a shot, just try it. Rub a little on your cheeckbones and it gives you that photoshoot (but natural-looking) glow. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

And while on the topic of cheetah and such, have any of you seen these Rebecca Taylor Cheetah sneakers? I know myself well enough to know that I would look like a doofus in them. BUT, even still, they are AWESOME!! ….for that cool cat girl who can pull them off!! If you’re rocking them, please share!
