Hello from chilly Aspen! If you’ve been following along on Instagram, you no doubt have seen that I’m in Aspen for the week with my family. We absolutely love it here and enjoy the change of scenery and slowed-down pace that comes with being out here. Most of our days are spent hanging out together in our house or exploring all the cute shops in Downtown Aspen. It’s truly one of my favorite places we’ve been!

The weather in Aspen is much different than Dallas! It’s 24 degrees as I type this, and we’re surrounded by snow everywhere, which I love. Dallas is supposed to hit 77 degrees today! So I had to really think through my clothing situation when I was planning out what I’d wear this week.

As soon as we booked our trip to Aspen, I knew I’d need to stock up on some warm pieces like this amazing down parka and some cold-weather accessories like this super cute beanie. I can honestly say I’ve stayed warm this entire trip so far — plus I’ve felt cute, which is equally important. ;)
