I love it when I find a good, solid dress I know I can wear to all sorts of things – and that’s not only flattering but also versatile and CUTE too. I knew this dress was a winner when I came across it online, but the game totally changed into a total GREEN LIGHT when I tried it on. It looks good, fits well and the length and neckline (and sleeves!) are perfection. You can easily wear it from day-to-night, from the office to drinks, and out to brunch with the girls too. It’d also be great to wear NOW or later in the season with a trench or oversized coat.

The rouching on the side makes it flattering for anyone and a variety of body types. Lisel and I were talking about how it would even be cute for her preggo belly :) – thanks rouching!. The fit allows for a womanly figure that accentuates curves while slimming the waist – #SCORE.

And lastly, the fact that it’s a subtle plaid is a WIN, too. If you haven’t picked up by now, plaid is totally IN this season. I rarely do an entire blog post talking just about how much I love one clothing item, but I felt like this dressed called for it y’all – it was a great find in my opinion (obviously). I wore it to a few meetings while in NYC for fashion week and felt confident and put together – I loved it with the booties too. These are actually really comfortable AND these exact ones are on major sale right now!
