Top 10 Dallas Brunch Spots

best brunch in dallas, top 10 spots for Dallas brunch

Dallas is a big city and with that comes a million and one restaurants. And Brunch in Dallas is quite the event. Honestly, it seems like people eat here for sport. What can I say, we’re pretty into it! But because there are so many options, it can be hard to decide on where to go. Right? And I feel like this is one of my most frequently asked questions too. So Today I wanted to finally share my favorite spots for Dallas brunch. find the places worthy of trying. Don’t worry I’m here to help with my recommendations!

Top 10 List: The Best Brunch In Dallas

While this list is in no particular order, there is a system to it! We included the neighborhood they are located in, so you know in advance what part of town you’re driving to, we included pictures (some of them we took, some are from Instagram) so you could see exactly what you’re walking in to.  And of course, we included the WHY. All of these places are brunch worthy, but some are cuter than others. And if it’s instagrammable, I’m going to let you know!

1. One Of The Very Best Spots For Brunch In Dallas: La Duni (knox/henderson)

Go for the FOOD

La Duni is a Latin cafe with the longest coffee menu you’ve ever seen. I’ve never had one bad thing on the menu – that being said, their HUEVOS CON CARNITAS is to die for. They have two locations but personally, I think the one on McKinney is the best.

2. Experience Brunch In Dallas At Stirr (Deep Ellum)

Go for the AESTHETICS

Stirr is one of the trendier places in the Deep Ellum neighborhood. It’s a super fun place to hang out on Sundays. They usually have live music on Sunday’s on their rooftop, but their inside space is the cutest. No matter where you sit you can’t go wrong. And no matter what time of day you go, always get the gorgonzola waffle fries.

3. Mercat Bistro (Uptown)

Go for the FOOD + AESTHETICS

Mercat Bistro is a little slice of France in the middle of Dallas. Their bistro tables look like they were taken straight out of a postcard. The French-inspired menu is ah-maze. This is the place if you’re looking to grab a good cappuccino or a long brunch with your girlfriends. If their quaint little cafe has a long waiting list, Saint Ann’s right next door is an equally good option.

4. Experience The Quintessential Dallas Brunch At BreadWinners Cafe (Uptown)

Go for the FOOD + ATMOSPHERE

BreadWinners is a great place for big groups of people. I feel like this is a very go-to spot for Dallasites and “the place” to bring out-of-towners when visiting the city. It’s super eclectic and it’s really centrally located. They have a huge menu so there’s no way you won’t find something to eat! Plus their bakery is in-house, so they have ALL the treats – cakes, cookies etc.

5. Venture To Bishop Arts And Enjoy Brunch At Oddfellows (Bishop Arts)

Go for the FOOD + AESTHETICS

Oddfellows is a little far out of the way, but it’s so worth it. This cute spot has an outdoor bar where you can look out onto the street or straight into the restaurant. Everything on the menu is amazing, as well as their coffee and bloody mary. But my personal favorite? The Oddfellows benedict.

6. Taverna (Knox/Henderson)

Go for the FOOD + $2 MIMOSAS

Taverna’s brunch is authentically Italian. I always have to start with their bruschetta. And did I mention their mimosas are only $2?! That should be enough reason to go there. I love that you can grab breakfast or lunch there for brunch. There menu has a wide variety of options and they’re patio is quaint and cute.

Also in this Knox/Henderson area: right next door to Taverna is Toulouse, who is actually KNOWN for their brunch too!

7. The Statler Hotel’s Over Easy (Downtown)

Go for the ATOMOSPHERE

Over Easy is one of Dallas’s newer hot spots. It’s inside the Famous Statler Hotel – which has a complete mid-century modern feel. Over Easy serves breakfast, all day and most of their menu items are twists on a classic breakfast. One of the more popular things is their deviled egg flight, which is delicious. There is also a coffee counter right when you walk in so you know their latte’s are worth ordering too. Plus the Hotel is super instagrammable, which is always a plus.

8. Venture Downtown For Brunch in Dallas at City Hall Bistro (Downtown)

Go for the Food + Aesthetic Atmosphere

City Hall Bistro is as chic as it gets. Located in the Adolphus Hotel, this place is a blogger’s dream. This is the perfect place to get dressed up with girlfriends and enjoy a glam brunch.

9. Dallas Brunch at The Harlowe (Deep Ellum)

Go for the Aesthetic + Atmosphere

The Harlowe is another upscale gem in the heart of Deep Ellum. The interior is gorgeous and their entire menu is full of unique (delicious) options like the pork belly chimichanga or the sourdough waffle. And they have the CUTEST “sparkle bar” where you build your own mimosas with fresh juices, purees, and fruit.

10. Brunch at Meddlesome Moth (Design District)

Go for the Food

Meddlesome Moth is so underrated here in Dallas, but their brunch menu might be the best in town. They have your classic brunch staples, but then they have things like a whiskey maple glazed donut sandwich that will CHANGE. YOUR. LIFE. Plus it’s located in the design district which is always a nice change of pace from the business of uptown.

Even though these 10 restaurants barely scratch the surface of the Dallas restaurant scene, they are a good starting point. It seems like new restaurants pop up every week around here but these 10 are tried and true. Trust me – you won’t be disappointed!
