This past week, temps rose a little bit and it felt a little bit like summer for a hot second until it rained…and then temps dropped again mid week. It’s been crazy how all over the place the weather has been lately in Dallas. Anyway, last Monday was SUPER windy and this long-sleeved + mini skirt duo was the perfect little combo for running errands  around town. These wedges are VERY comfortable and not too high so they’re easy to walk in :) Also, these earrings are under $20 you guys!

I told you guys ALL about why I loved this dress a few weeks ago (in this blog post), but I posted about it again on my instagram early last week just in case you missed the post! Anyway, the point is that I love it and it’s under $50 :) and super easy to dress up OR down!

Tuesday night, I went to an event at Williams Sanoma hosted by The Everygirl and Kendall Jackson Wines where one of the recent Top Chef winners prepared a fabulous 5 course meal paired with KJ wines. It was SO MUCH fun and I loved getting to meet the ladies behind The Everygirl.

On Wednesday I wore this super cozy fringed cardigan and a basic black tee to run around town. This cardigan is a bit pricey but it’s really easy to wear and super cute over a dress as well! Or with a tunic and leggings :)

I think I have this tunic topic (although in different materials) in over 5 different colors! I love it and wear it all the time – it’s a great basic!

Kate Spade ‘Cedar Street – Hayden’ Satchel

On Thursday, I had a brunch at one of my favorite spots in Dallas – Sissy’s Southern Kitchen on Henderson. They have the yummiest feel-good food – think mashed potatoes and fried chicken! And the atmosphere is super cute!

Threw this on after brunch to go and check out the new IVY PARK collection (Beyonce’s new workout line!) at Nordstrom later that afternoon (which was amazing by the way!). I ended up getting a sports bra (don’t think the one I got is online yet because I couldn’t find it?), an oversized tank and workout pants and an oversized short-sleeved sweatshirt (the one I put on snapchat).

This weekend was mostly centered around celebrating one of my best friend’s getting married! And of course, it was a complete BLAST! The rehearsal dinner was at The Joule and it was so beautiful.

This is what I wore to the wedding – I got so many compliments! :) And if you saw my snapchat, then you got to see how BEAUTIFUL the reception was! It was seriously SO amazing! It was at the Dallas Museum of Art and so different and special than any other Dallas wedding I’ve ever been to!
