More Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas

thanksgiving outfit ideas, what to wear to thanksgiving, cute thanksgiving outfits

I’m back again with MORE thanksgiving outfit ideas for y’all! I can’t believe it’s literally NEXT week. Where did November go?! And then comes Black Friday…and Cyber Monday. Don’t worry, I’ve gotcha covered – just mosey on over here for all the best deals and finds when that time comes…

Anyway, last week I gave you all a few thanksgiving outfit ideas by putting together ‘photoshop’ product collages. And although it can be inspiring to see outfits without bodies in them, I wanted to give y’all a quick round up featuring outfits that make it a little easier to actually VISUALIZE. Hopefully, either through this post or the last, you’ve got a few good ideas for what you’re wanting to wear NEXT Thursday!

oversized comfy sweater jeans and booties

if you plan on kickin’ it on the couch and taking things easy with the fam this holiday, then I would FOR SURE suggest an oversized sweater and skinnies (my GO-TO outfit combo….for just #life)

Sweater // jeans // booties

Mock Neck Turtleneck simple necklace neutral booties

But really though, you can’t go wrong with an oversized sweater and jeans. In this case, it’s actually a mock turtleneck, but I was going for the same general look (comfy and easy). I added a touch of detail with the necklace to add a little something extra without making too much of a statement – again, I was going for easy and understated.

Mock neck sweater (SOLD OUT – shop similar sweaters here) // necklace (also a great gift!) // booties // Lips // Watch // Denim (worth it)

mock turtleneck and plaid scarf

Or you could wear this same sweater with a plaid scarf to make it look a little more festive…

Same mock neck sweater (as above) // Plaid Scarf // Bag

puffer vest with blanket scarf, skirt and riding boots outfit

if it’s not too cold where you are, maybe try putting on your favorite mini skirt with your riding boots. And then add something super fall-ish-looking on top to complete the look (an oversized sweater or long-ish plaid shirt would look cute too!)

Scarf // Vest (sale) // Striped Turtleneck (also here) // Skirt // Riding Boots

cozy cardigan and blank skinnies thanksgiving outfit

cozy up in your favorite open front cardigan for a comfy yet put together look to snuggle up on the couch and watch football! You can snazz up the look if you need too by wearing fancier shoes or tall boots.

Print Cardigan  // Cream Sweater // Black Pants // Necklace // Booties

long cardigan and white tee

Another open front cardigan option is this one – except this one has more of a “waterfall” front. Maybe you already have one in your closet – or something similar? Throw it over your favorite white tee and add a simple gold necklace and booties to finish off the look.

booties (other options here and here) // cardigan (SALE – 40% OFF!) // tee (and other option) // necklace // watch // tote // lip gloss (and other option here)

Comfy Fringe Cardigan

speaking of longer-ish cardigans, this is a great one that kind of works like a shawl and turns a basic sweater and jeans combo into something a little more cozy and cute (and interesting). I’ve been wearing this thing on repeat and my roomies have even borrowed it a few times as well!

booties // denim (and other option here) // watch // cardigan // sweater // prada bag // necklace

blanket scarf and turtleneck and tall boots

go with a statement-worthy blanket scarf worn over a not-so-oversized turtleneck with your favorite pair of jeans and tall boots (riding boots or ballet flats would also be cute with this look!)

turtleneck // blanket scarf // boots

or break the rules and go with white jeans (I love these high rise ones by jbrand…had them for 4 years!), which I personally LOVE during the Fall and even Winter! I love wearing my white jeans with riding boots. And with the right top, it looks super cute – aka you can break the rules with confidence!

striped turtleneck // plaid shirt (40% OFF almost sold out) // jeans // boots

Long-sleeve black swing dress and leopard scarf via @brightonkeller

Throw on your favorite swing dress and a statement printed scarf for an easy (yet put together) look that’s both comfy and cute! AND leaves room for second and thirds!

Black Long-Sleeved Swing Dress (under $45!) // Cognac Suede Booties (under $100) // Leopard Printed Scarf ($20!) //  3.1 phillip lim bag // hat // watch // earrings

mixing prints outfit plaid blanket scarf and striped tee

throw on your favorite jeans and striped shirt duo and then add a little holiday spirit with a plaid skirt – mixing stripes and plaid always works!

shirt ($30) // denim // scarf // bag // watch // booties

faux fur vest leather skinnies and cream turtleneck outfit

dressing up for turkey day? I would suggest going with some leather leggings and an oversized sweater (or turtleneck in this case – this one is long enough to wear with leggings. I’m wearing size XS and I’m 5 foot 2).

This look gives of a fancier vibe than most of the other looks, BUT it’s still cozy and not too overdone. And then adding the black faux fur makes even a little more snazzy….you could dress it down by ditching the fur or wear simple black flats.

faux fur vest // turtleneck // faux leather leggings

striped sweater and utility jacket outfit

I think this outfit just about works for anything – from running errands to grabbing dinner with friends to holiday get-togethers! And as such, it would also be a great option for Thanksgiving with your (or your spouse/boyfriend’s family!). Play up your go-to striped shirt or sweater with a military/field/utility jacket OR vest!

BOOTIES in ‘Coffee’ // BAG // SWEATER ($34 – wearing XS, fits a little looser) // Military Jacket (wearing XS – love how stretchy and comfortable this one is!) // Jeans ($52 – fit TTS) // Aviators

comfy tee dress puffer vest and hunter boots

Do you have a favorite tee shirt dress? You could spice it up by adding a puffer vest like this or a statement scarf (or statement necklace!). Another idea is to tie a chambray around your waist to give it a little shape (like I did here)

Dress // Vest // Rain Boots

tunic and turtleneck

This tunic is one of those pieces that you could wear a few different ways, but I think my favorite way is with a turtleneck under it! I love how it’s different than a cardigan (in that it’s MORE a part of the actual outfit) and yet it can still be removed if needed. This would also be cute with a basic striped tee under it too.

Halogen Drop Shoulder Side Zip Tunic (ON SALE!) wearing Regular size XS) // Tissue Turtleneck (also this long-sleeved, crew neck tee) // BAG // WATCH 42mm bracelet watch // EARRINGS // JEANS // see the full post here
