Y’all, I feel so lucky that the high today in High Hampton is 85 degrees. I know that’s hot to a lot of you, but compared to Dallas, it feels like heaven. The high in Dallas today is 100!

I’ve lived in Texas long enough to know that summers are hot. The best thing you can do is stay inside or find a pool. Whenever I’m dressing during the summer, the goal is light and breezy. Whether that’s a tank or t-shirt and shorts or a flowy dress that doesn’t cling to me, I’m all about outfits that are easy to throw on without being too warm.

A good summer dress is one of my FAVORITE things to wear during the summer months. I’ve shared a ton that during pregnancy, I basically live in maxi dresses. They’re just *so* comfy!

I recently found several dresses that I’m loving for summertime. I bought several, but wanted to share even the ones I had in my cart but ultimately passed on because I wasn’t sure they’d work with the bump. There are a ton of cute prints and silhouettes out right now for summer.

I was excited when this pink floral maxi dress from Shopbop arrived before we left for our trip because I knew it’d be a great option to have on vacation. The empire waist makes it super bump-friendly, while the ruched straps and back keep it fitted in the areas I want right now. I also like that the skirt portion of this dress is unlined because it makes the dress nice and breezy (and not see-through at all!).
